Monticello Place Subdivision is located in the wonderful city of Jeffersontown, Kentucky between Watterson Trail and Billtown Road. The subdivision is a deed restricted community that consists of 277 single family homes.

The Monticello Place Community Association (MPCA) has been established as a legal Kentucky corporation in accordance with the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (Deed Restrictions) that each property owner subscribed to when they purchased property in the subdivision.  Each lot owner within the subdivision is a member of the Community Association.  The Community Association is governed by a Board of active homeowner members elected by the membership attending the fall general membership meeting.

The goals of the Community Association include working to improve the quality of our neighborhood by encouraging compliance with our Deed Restrictions.

This web site is purposed to serve the residents of the neighborhood through regular updates and to provide a single point of contact for all.  We want this website to serve your needs so we encourage you to provide your comments and suggestions for improvement.

AT&T Fiber Notice

Here are some FAQ’s for the upcoming AT&T project for your neighborhood:

1) This is a utility project to place high speed fiber optic cable in the neighborhood so that AT&T can provide ultra-high-speed internet to your community.

2) The workers will be burying fiber optic cables and terminal boxes along the streets, in the right of way and utility easements which extend into the yards of the neighborhood. The terminal boxes will be flush with the ground, so, there will be no unsightly pedestal type terminals.

3) When the workers are on your street, it will look pretty hectic! However, our goal is to have your street looking back to normal by the end of each day. Usually, we are able to make that happen. We will make every effort to not leave open excavations overnight. In the rare event that we must, we will place barricades around the affected area for your protection.

4) We are proud of our safety record based on the hundreds of thousands of feet of buried cable we place each year. While 811 has done their best to locate underground utilities, accidents do happen. If you suspect the workers have damaged a utility line to your home, please call Killian Jamison at 502-936-6445, or Fredi Silva at 301-556-7311. Star Construction will take responsibility for repairs caused by our activities. If you smell gas, call 911 immediately.

5) Invisible dog fences and irrigation systems are not located by 811. We make every effort to avoid damage to them and repair them on the spot, but as with any private property placed in the utility easement, it can happen. If you notice your dog fence control box chirping, contact Killian or Fredi, and they will respond quickly to get it fixed.

6) If there is damage to your irrigation system, please contact Killian or Fredi to arrange a repair.

7) The buried cables will cross under your driveways and streets. Please note the condition of your driveway before we work in your area. If you suspect that our work has damaged your driveway, please contact Killian or Fredi. We will not be responsible for pre-existing damage.

8) YES, we will restore your lawn. Once all the digging and line placement is complete, we will come through the neighborhood and create a "punch list" of repairs we need to make. Also, the workers will be re-placing the same sod they dug up from your lawn, so there is no worry of mismatching turf.

9) Please do not try to communicate with the workers. Many of them do not speak English and they cannot answer your questions. Please contact Killian or Fredi at the numbers listed above with your questions or concerns.

If you have any questions about this project, please feel free to contact Keith Drury, AT&T Project Manager at (615) 975-3485, email kd1075@att.com, or Robert Furlong, Star Construction Supervisor at (502)-504-0221, email robert.furlong@star-llc.net.
